Julia said and Da'Karro could see the truth in the words. But he already knew what Jon had been to Scarlet, not a lover but a brother. A figure to guide and protect but not to love. "Always getting herself into trouble that one." She said with a laugh. "Charming little idiosyncrasy of hers. How did you two met? If you don't mind, It's been awhile since I've had someone to talk to that wasn't trying to force me to bed."
"Of course," He replied, nodding his head, he knew better than most the place of a slave, "We met by chance really, the day after Scarlt arrived on the Harbinger. I had been looking for Captain Sheva, I was on a mission from my temple and I believed Robyn to be whom I seeked." Da'Karro smiled a rue smile into the wind before continuing, "The first time I met your sister I had tortured one man and killed another."
