It took Gabrielle a few minutes to realize that she hadn’t broken the chain completely. Snarling, she jerked harder onto the cuff, stretching out her other arm as far as she could reach. She squeezed her fingers together, trying to wiggle free from the cuff despite knowing it was too tight for her to do that. As she stretched, she glanced around for something to use and finally spotted a small piece of metal. Shoving it into the key hole, she scrunched her nose up, trying to get the damn thing unlocked.

See you in a day at Midnight.” Benson hung the phone up and grinned widely. His plan was coming together and Bryson, who usually failed him, actually did something right. He slid his cell into his pocket and just smirked while thinking about everything he was going to do to her.
