When he saw Minami's hand, Jay was indeed scared to say. But seconds passed as he looked at each and every one of their faces. Where was the hitting? the yelling? the pain? He had been waiting for something to come, but they weren't doing anything to hurt him. In fact, Minami and Yuki had sadness in their before going back to trying to comfort him. Was he really in the much trouble? Minami seemed to want to take him out as she began to speak.
"Want to play somewhere else? Its up to you if you want to come with me. I'm just tired of sweets. I want something salty."
Jay bit his bottom lip, he didn't know if he wanted to go, but just then Yuki spoke out as well.
"Gai, if i may, i think i would like to speak with the lad."
That comforted him; Not the sentence mind you, but the last word. Lad - it was a term he had grown fond of when he had been a boy. When he lived under some broken down underpass, there was an old lady that came nearly every other day to feed him. She had always called him lad and Jay kept that word close to his heart.
With a sigh, he pulled back from Minami's hand and looked down.
"S-sorry . . . I'm . . . yea . . . we can talk if you need me to . . ."
