Quickly glancing to both sides, Haru decided that no one heard him muttering to himself and let out a slight sigh. He had to constantly remind himself that this was reality and not some so-called flashback of his life that one supposedly sees as they die. Walking through these hallowed halls of the school building, the school which he would be attending for the duration of this game. With the game in mind, he reminded himself that he was not Haru Isoshima for the time being. Rather, he was to be known as Hase Yuuki. Granted, it wasn't his best alias of all, but he was on the spot and thus said the first combination of names that came to mind. With another sigh, he took out a lollipop from his pocket and popped it into his mouth.
All things considered, stuff could be worse. Haru was given a second chance to live his life; or rather, a shot at receiving a chance for a second life. As long as he completed his end of the deal, he would be given a way to cheat death. Still, he had remaining doubts about the morality of the game. Is it really okay for him to screw someone else's life over for the sake of getting more years for himself? Isn't condemning someone else to death considered to be an act of murder? Glancing at the other students surrounding him, his fellow ghosts and possible enemies, from his peripherals, they all appeared to be certainly fine with that fact. Seemingly as though either they already thought of the idea and chose to ignore it or just ignorant of it all together.
It wasn't until several moments after that he realized he had been unconsciously glaring towards his front. With a quick, vigorous, shake of his head, Haru, or rather Hase, put on a masking smile. A smile, which had taken several months of skillful lying, that was utterly perfect, if he did say so himself. Slowing down his pace, he let himself drift to the rear of the group, several feet behind them. From the back of their heads, he mentally sized up those around him.
First of all, there was the homeroom teacher. Hase already forgot her name, he wasn't overly concerned about her. She was just a homeroom teacher after all, right? Aside from being a teacher that does teacher things, he didn't really care enough to size her up. There was one other male aside from himself, Yahiro. He made Hase feel uneasy; the feeling one gets when they notice a police officer has their eyes on them. One of the others, a female, had really white hair, pretty fitting considering her name is Shiro. He couldn't help but figure she was the most serious of the group. At least, that was the feeling he was getting from her. This piqued his curiosity regarding her past life. As Hase was going to size up the remaining person, a female named Hinata, he noticed that she was glancing back at the rest of the group. When their eyes met, he took the lollipop out of his mouth. With a smile, he tipped an imaginary hat towards her as a silent greeting before inserting his piece of candy back into his mouth and looking away. This one seemed to have a lot of internal conflict, is what Hase's intuition led to believe. Of course, he was usually wrong when it came to first impressions so he pushed aside his mental notes for the time being.
Despite having doubts about whether or not this game is morally acceptable, he was excited to see how things word turn out. While he couldn't speak on behalf of the others, he knew for sure that he was ready to knock 'em dead. Pun fully intended.
