My mom's sent me a few things, but I've never had a chance to wear any of them." She smiled to herself, "Until now..."
Her face flushed as she realized what she was doing. She cleared her throat, letting go of Ashton's hand and crossing her arms. "B-but don't think I'll enjoy going with you, okay? I-I only agreed because you don't have a partner!" And then she ran up the stairs towards her room to get ready.
