Neither of those would work, but he couldn't understand.
"Have you ever tried to talk to the god?" He asked and Kalila picked fiddled with the charcoal. "Do you think you could?"
She reached out again and scribbled.
I Am Ishka.
She set the charcoal down. She was Ishka, she didn't leave inside her, she wasn't just a vessel, she was her. she embodied Ishka. They were the same.
The voices were pain and suffering, of the entire world and all it's people, the reason she couldn't express those emotions because if she did, she would go mad, she would be deeply saddened by the world's suffering, it would be too much to take.
Speaking was difficult for a similar reason.
It was then her grey eyes turned ice white, as if blind and she began to shake violently.
Images flashed before her eyes, as she began to seize.
