Walking along as he peered into a large paper bag, Lucas Lessard made his way down one of the sidewalks that lined the streets of Lumiena square. It was starting to get late, and most of the lanterns had been lit now for the better part of the hour. The sun had faded below the horizon long before Lucas had first entered one of his usual shops. He found that the square, as well as most of the city, tended to get emptier once the sun went down. He assumed it was with good reason, but no one would rob a guy of some plants and mushrooms.
He nodded, beginning to hum a tune as he reassured himself. Yes, no one would even know what to do with it all. The best part was that he didn't have to deal with the crowds while he was out shopping. Usually if he needed something during the day he'd send his little shop boy...or was he a girl?
"Bah." He huffed. "Who cares."
He hadn't bothered to confirm, he didn't even know their name, if it was told to him it was quickly forgotten under another recipe.
