Lynda slipped her long sleeved shirt on before putting on and zipping up her jacket. Today was the day; the day where she had to go to some summer camp for troubled students. She scoffed as she tied her shoes. She wasn't troubled, she just liked to fight. Hell, when she was caught, it was during an organized event by the students. Sure, it was still fighting, and sure it was done by the students, but didn't a somewhat professional event count for anything? She bust her butt setting up that event, and as many as 32 students showed up to participate too. Things were going fine and there actually wasn't any injuries; it was just all for fun.

Still, she was nailed as the one responsible for the event, and now, this camp was her punishment. Great.

She packed her briefcase and slung her duffle bag over her shoulder and headed downstairs. She had already had breakfast, so all she needed was to find her-

As she rounded a corner, she bumped into her parents, standing with very stern expressions. Lynda stared back for a moment.

"Um..." She scratched the back of her head, trying to figure out what to say that won't upset her parents more.

"Well, i'm all packed up and had breakfast, so I'm ready to go now."

Her parents wordlessly walked outside and headed to the car. Lynda sighed as she walked out after them; her parents were so upset with her, they didn't even have anything to say. Normally, they would have chewed her out non stop, but after the day they found out about her "event", they signed her up, and barely said a word to her since.

Half the ride there was silent and uncomfortable. She had to say something.

"I'm sorry, okay? I'm really sorry. It's so hard to explain, but fighting gives me a rush I don't feel anywhere else. It was all for fun; I mean, no one even got hurt! No matter how much I apologize, you guys still stay pissed at me! What do you want from me?!"

She took a deep breath and tried to calm down, waiting on her parents' response.

"Lynda... you know what we expect of you." Her father started. It's bad enough that you were apart of that fighting event at school, but you organized it. That is unacceptable, and this camp will set you straight.

"Yeah... but-"

Her mother turned in her seat to face her, her eyes colder than usual. "We love you Lynda. You're our daughter. Until you finish this camp however, I can't find the will to completely forgive you. Prove to us that you mean it, because this is more serious than you think it is. Remember that as the summer goes on."

Lynda lowered her head in thought and a bit of anger. how can her parents be so unreasonably cold? Was it really that bad?

When she arrived at the camp, she said her goodbyes and watched her parents drive off. Turning to face the camp, it wasn't as bad as she thought it would of been for a disciplinary camp. Walking for a bit, she eventually found a big crowd near a bulletin board. She shrugged; it looked important enough to head for it.

As she neared the board, a man with light blue hair and a megaphone started addressing the crowd. She listened intently to everything he said; the last thing she wanted to do was be expelled and ruin her last chance. The whole hidden teacher thing could become a huge problem though. Se wasn't a trouble maker, she just liked to fight. There had to be some way to enjoy herself here without being expelled.

As she walked over to the board, all the people didn't look all that... delinquent-like to her. I guess trouble comes in all shapes and sizes. She even saw a guy grab some random girl's ass and keep moving. She thought it was his girlfriend, but he immediately went to a taller blond girl and was all over her. If he did that to her, she would uppercut him right in the jaw. How could anyone act so flirty from girl to girl like it was a sport? Didn't he have any shame?

Turning away from that scene, she walked over to the room listings and traced her finger along until she found her name.

"Room 3, huh...?" She mumbled. She also saw another name right above hers; her roommate? It was fine, as long as her roommate was cool. She headed for her room and opened the door. To her surprise, it looks like her roommate wasn't here yet. Strange, since she was a bit late. She placed her briefcase and duffle bag on the bed on the window side, deciding to unpack from now. First, she pulled out her violin and placed it on the night stand; last thing she wanted was to accidentally break it somehow.

She soon packed away her clothes, toiletries, and everything else. Now... for the final touch. She hung up a poster on her wall of two martial artists jumping in the air, both of them coming in for some kind of flying kick. She placed her hands on her hips and nodded her head. Now this felt more like home.

Putting the empty bags under her bed, she sat at the edge of her bed, and kicked swung her legs in thought of what to do. There was still some time before that class she had to go to, so she decided just to relax for now. Laying on her bed now, she just stared at the ceiling. Who knows, maybe her roommate will walk in soon and they could get to know each other.

"Here's to hopefully not a crappy summer."
