In fact, of the force Roth had in the city there were at least a hundred shield maidens, though they didn't dare remove their armor before the northerners. Picking out two stealth vanguards with black mithral and a vudrmeister, Roth travelled to the castle's black smith to ask for a certain blade to be made in the matter of an hour. Of course the smith said it could not be done but the boy insisted that with their own magic they could construct one with a set of armor. So while the vurdmeister used his magic to form the metal, Roth had his measurement taken. He was relatively the same size as Arya so the armor should fit. Since she didn't look strong he thought she could use a mithral chain shirt. Mithral was favored for its strength and comfort. If one didn't know much about the metal they might mistake it for a type of silk shirt that was as bright as diamond.

When the shirt and the weapon were finished the vurdmeister had exhausted five spells. He handed the mithral shirt to his stealth vanguard. "Use your skills to deliver this to her chambers when she is not there." Roth told him and with that the man used an invisibility spell to disappear. As for the sword, he had an idea for an enchantment that could make up for her size.
