Erick continued smiling and simply tilted his head at the young man's attempted intimidation. He had no intention of fighting this boy but there was no doubt in his mind that he could take out anyone in the room.

"Well if you're trying to say I seem more interested in this little necklace than one would think, maybe it's because I saw it in action," he said, hoping that the boy would understand what he was getting at. He nodded a goodbye and turned to the store owner as she told them that it was closing time. "Yes, I just wanted to make a purchase first." Eric extended the necklace out to the woman. The necklace alone would have made the trip worth it. He could put this whole ordeal behind him and pretend that his life was completely normal. Something about these people interested him, though. Why weren't they all wearing a necklace all the time? Did they not care about the chance of becoming a savage slaughter-machine against their own will? Although it was possible that he could have been wrong about them. Then again, the store seemed too perfect for the owner to not have at least some sort of-.
