“Hmm... Hmmm.. Hmm...” Cassie was humming a soft melody while sitting at one of the benches in the gardens of the Villa. Ever since she had been allowed to partake in the outside world, she had found much adoration for the lovely artwork of the earth or mostly commonly known as nature. The brightness of the sun, the cool breeze, the songs of the birds, the scent of the flowers blooming, she was completely taken in. She had barely been allowed outside when she was still in Greece. All she could see were the white walls, curtains, furniture, and anything one could find inside a house. This is why she likes the sensation of being outside. She reached out her hand as some petals of flowers being blown by the wind landed at her palm.
"Elle... It's time for your medicine." She looked over her shoulders and found a glass of water and a hand containing a tablet. She took it and then took the water to drink. She was soon done and handed back the glass. “Thank you, Hotaru.” Her loyal and kind guardian gave a brief nod. "I have found the location of Varthur Laurence's funeral." Cassiopeia lowered her head as she felt sadness. They were strangers and barely even schoolmates. But, she really didn't like seeing anyone die. She also knew it's a useless sentiment as everyone is bound to die at some point. But, it doesn't mean she can't not like it. “Hotaru when I--” She wasn't able to continue what she was about to say because Hotaru had placed a finger on her lips.
"Don't. I'll prepare the car." Hotaru said as she made a small bow and left. Cassie touched her lips where the lingering warmth of Hotaru's finger still remained. “I'm so sorry...” She muttered so softly and then took a deep breath. She even slapped her hands at both sides of her face. It was to wake her up and get her out of her self-induced slump. “Okay... I'm fine now.” She then stood from her seat and then took out her phone. She had been thinking of calling Aeon, just to ask if he is doing fine. But decided against it and simply sent a text message. “I hope you're okay. Say hi to Brinx and Andrew for me! Take it easy, alright?” She then sent it and went to the front where Hotaru was already waiting for her.
"Shall we go?" Cassie nodded with determination while another servant handed her the flowers she had bought the other day. “Thank you.” She said and then went towards the car. Once inside, Hotaru went to the driver's seat as she sat at the back. They soon began to leave the Villa's premises and made their way towards the funeral.
