"And then, we met."
"Here." He handed her back the grocery list. He then pointed at a certain direction. The market is that way." He said before starting to lead the way, but then he remembered something. His pace was rather considerate. His long legs could get him anywhere faster than any average person especially against his current companion. That's why he slowed his pace to make sure that she won't feel the need to catch up with him. Instead, he matched his with hers.
He also took the easiest and safest route to their destination. He would also occasionally tell her directions which would be easy for her to recall along the way. He would even add a few landmarks for easy recognition. Then, they finally arrived at the market. There was a huge crowd and it was understandable. It's during around that the market is abuzz. It would not be hard to get lost in that sea of people. Still, it's remarkable as the wave of people circled around them because, they couldn't help but admire him in all of his glory.
He couldn't just up and leave her here. It was like throwing a piece of meat into a sea full of sharks literally. The noises and hype of the market created a very lively scene. "What do you need first?" He asked as he looked at her. It would be best to assist her in shopping as well, but before he could hear her answer. "Ryou-kun?" He looked at the person who called him and it was an elderly. It was one of the meat vendors, Fuwa-san. He did some shopping with his Aunt, so he was a familiar face to some of the vendors. "Good day, Fuwa-san."
"Good day! So, what do you need?" Ryou gazed at Mai. "She's the one in-charge." He stated with an amiable tone as Fuwa-san looked at her and smiled courteously. "I see, so what's does the cute missy needs?"
