Anna was lost. Lost in a new city, without a single friend, and without a way to contact her father now that her cell phone was dead. She'd already lost sight of the shop and couldn't go back for help. Surely her father would be worried. He always worried. Anna silently prayed that someone would help her. If she continued wandering around like this, she'd get more lost, and then have no chance of finding her house. So instead she sat down on a bench, looking out at the darkened town. She heard footsteps, and turned to see a rather large dog. A very large dog. A wolf.

The wolf walked up to her, whimpering the way a pet would, and held out it's paw. The paw seemed injured. "Did you hurt your paw?" Anna stood and walked over to the wolf, kneeling down in the snow, and carefully taking it's paw only to find that there wasn't any injury at all. She looked into the wolves eyes to find a startling shade of red. "...you're not hurt..." Any normal person would be in fear if such a big wolf came walking up to them, but for some reason Anna felt like she knew this wolf. Like they had met before...
