Still concentrating on her feet as they swished and sloshed beneath the waterline of the pool, Amelia gave an internal sigh as she listened to Marshall backhand her attempts to make him feel better, she wasn't disappointed, she just felt as though she had wasted her speech - something usually so preciously kept to herself. Then, when Marshall suggested swimming again, Amelia peered up and nodded, thinking that perhaps swimming could make him feel better, as he had suggested.
Once Marshall had entered the water again and the re-surfaced, Amelia stayed on the edge for a bit, observing him as he flickered and twitched in and out of visibility, For a moment Amelia just watched him, wondering why he flickered so much but to avoid the situation becoming awkward due to her staring for too long, Amelia dived back into the water too.
Upon resurfacing, Amelia took a gasp of air and felt suddenly at ease. The water seemed to have a cooling effect. But Marshall still flickered, which made Amelia even more curious. "Marshall" she began trying to hover in one spot in the pool as she spoke, "Why are you fading?" she continued watching as his existence slowly became ghost-like and then re-appeared again.
