Maya felt overjoyed as the blonde who seemed on good terms with the downcast boy spoke. While he did it in an unusual way, his actions and words seemed to cheer the boy up. She believed that they could easily sort things out. If you ignored the fact one of them was attached to the ceiling with some sort of tentacles, which amazed Maya so much she gasped, the scene in front of her was completely normal. Something you could find anywhere, not just a messed up school for people with powers. Things like friendship and understanding were something this place needed more of.

Not wanting to disturb their little bonding moment any longer, Maya made her way back to her room with a warm feeling in her heart. It didn’t seem as if her roommate was back while she was gone. Going from the cafeteria and her room was the only journey Maya really made inside these walls but just that gave her so many new experiences. She met people like never before, some might have been less than friendly but overall she could get used to this. It made her curious as to what class would be like. She really couldn’t see all these people behaving in a classroom environment. It would make for some funny moments for sure.

She sat down on her bed and suddenly felt the urge to write. She opened up her bag and pulled out a note book. She noted all the people she met today and their basic characteristics from what she could see. It seemed like something she could do whenever she was bored or just met new unusual people. She then put away her writing a lied down, her feet hanging of the side. She was particularly tired and started making illusions of random things which popped into her head at the time.
