Water dripped from Amelia's hair and swimsuit as she quietly made her way back to the dorms. The decisions of taking a shower once she got there was forced into her mind before she could even contemplate it; she hated the smell of chlorine. Eventually Amelia made it back before the smell became too harsh, which she was thankful for, and closed the door behind her. Once alone in the room Amelia dropped the towel she had wrapped around herself and kicked off her sandals before then folding the towel, placing it on the end of her bed and then straightening the sandals on top, making them look just as they had in the pool room. After discovering thee ensuite, Amelia gratefully stripped from her swimsuit, folded it up and then stepped into the steaming hot stream of water.
Once emerging from the steam the shower brought once Amelia had shut off the hot water and allowed the cool air to flow in once she opened the door. Now scrubbed, varnished and all over clean and rid of the horrid chlorine smell, Amelia was finally at least feeling better than she had; wet and crowded in that pool room. Now she could dry herself, dress and curl up to read her book in silence and privacy, just how she liked it.
