"I--have rarely eaten in this world. Only once or twice on long missions--but it was usually an animal I caught. Those little fluffy-tailed mice creatures are quite tasty roasted. And they are often plentiful."Nora replied, looking thoughtful."As for exploring--not much, I suppose. We are given strict orders and cannot stray far from our route...as you can see.." Nora rubbed absently at the slowly healing black welt at her throat. "So...I suppose...I know little of this world...i do not even know where I should begin.."She realized aloud. Nervously she chewed her bottom lip. This was truly, not a wise decision. With a strange dragon, in a strange world, full of strange creatures...she was unsure if she should be frightened or elated. She looked to Lazarus with her head tilted, some of her short bangs falling across her forehead. "Can you teach me of this world, Mr. Steele?"
"Teach you of this world? Of course. I've lived in the modern world for a long time, Miss Silverwing. I've seen it grow, make mistakes... decades have gone by and these mortals have changed in so many ways. I know more then most, I would assume." Again, his cocky attitude game out a bit as he gave her a smug smirk and then gestured down the sidewalk again, leading her back towards his home. The large mansion on the hill, as if a chunk of the city had been removed and replaced by a large lawn of bright green, lighting up that section with the other buildings pretty far away from it when they finally arrived on the outskirts. He rarely grew winded from walking. Dragons had very high levels of stamina.
"So. You eat rodents when you're here. That's... lovely.Of course Lazarus was being sarcastic and it was apparent she liked meat. He smiled at that thought; of course all dragons enjoyed meat. He glanced over at her, observing her appearance for another moment longer before straying closer to the large iron gate in front of his house. On the side was of course, a speaker with a button to gain entrance into his home. "But, I can certainly provide something much more elaborate then roasted mice. And I can certainly inform you and show you the wonders of the mortal world. Perhaps you can start somewhere new, in another country or across this one, far away and find something new? I am not certain but I will help you find your way. Besides, this gives me something to do then walk around to burger joints and pick fights with stubborn werewolves." He glanced at her, offering a grin before he pressed the button on the speaker to the gate and flipping his hair from his golden face.
"Hello?" Daniel's voice rang through the speaker. "Daniel,it's Lazarus. I have a guest with me. Open up the gates, would you?" The gates suddenly pushed open, and Lazarus led Nora up the long curved driveway to the large front door with fancy lights on the finished porch. He offered her to go inside first, smiling politely at her and seeing Daniel coming down from the second floor through the glass windows that lined every wall somewhere on each floor.
