Judith moved back to through the kitchen, heading back to her place at the oven. She continued working on breakfast. Though Darrin was downstairs, she doubted he would eat. "How have things been?" Grace asked. Judith sighed softly. She glanced to the younger woman for a moment before turning her attention back to her work. "I won't lie. It's not been good. This is the first time in months that he's actually come out of his bedroom. When he's not keeping to himself, he's typically yelling at me. I'm just at my wits end with him."

She paused for a moment, as if trying to make sure that Darrin hadn't heard her. She then dropped her voice a bit more. "Don't get me wrong. I understand that he's been through quite a bit. I'm not sure how much you've heard...but the real reason that Unfinished Belief disbanded was because Darrin just lost the will to do anything. After his wife left him...he just hasn't been the same since. I've tried everything that I can think of. But, nothing seems to help. He just gets angry with me."

Judith began plating up the food and then began taking the plates into the dining room. She sat the plates down and then made her way to get glasses. "You haven't eaten yet?" She asked, ready to fix the woman a plate. Once the table was ready, Judith called out to the children.

Immediately, they got up from their spots in the living room and ran into the dining room. They each took their seat but waited for their grandmother. Judith led the way back to the dining room. "Grace, this is Taylor and Nichola." She said softly, a small smile on her face. The two children looked up to the new woman, eyeing her. Judith was allowing Grace the chance to speak with them if she wished it. Judith was well aware that Darrin hadn't come into the dining room. She took her seat, trying not to let it get to her.

When his mother had called out that breakfast was ready, Darrin had waited until the kids where gone before slowly getting up from his seat. He then made his way outside to sit in one of the lounge chairs that was around the pool. He then pulled out a cigarette, lighting it. Slowly, he began smoking.

He had no idea who was in his home and honestly, he didn't care. So long as they left him be. He sighed softly as he pulled out his phone. He checked it, seeing that he had a few messages from Kris. He wished that his former friend would just let him be. Why could't he take a hint? He deleted the messages before putting the phone back in his pocket.

Darrin leaned back, laying upon the chair and closed his eyes. He should have just remained upstairs. He could already imagine his mother hunting him down, trying to get him to eat. He just wanted to be left alone. Of course, having come downstairs was his first mistake. Once he was finished smoking, he would go back upstairs and back into his solitude.
