A little beforehand, Colette had told her tired mother and her hardworking father that she'd be hanging out with a few of her friends that night after dinner. Her mother was far to tired to give her an actual answer and so she asked her father who told her to keep an ear out for her phone when it rang or vibrated. They were always still protective of their little girl.
Colette brought a small purse, since she didn't feel the need to bring much, even though she was scared out of her mind for what was going to be happening in that haunted club building. Her phone, a mini water bottle, a mini flashlight, and a few bandaids incase someone got her, especially her, being as clumsy as she is.
"I'll be back in a few hours." She called quietly to her sleepy mother, sleeping brother, and father who was trying to keep himself awake as he worked on his computer. No one responded since the whole house seemed to be falling into a deep sleep, but she knew what they'd say. Probably something like, 'Don't stay out too late' or 'Make sure to call once and a while to check in.' 'I'm not a kid anymore though...' She thought with a frown on her face, which made her look more like a child than a young teenager.
Colette has a very small frame, and knows the back of the school quite well, since her home is behind the school rather than on the sides of in front of it. Every day she'd enter from a tiny opening in the walls which was just small enough for her to squeeze through if she tried hard enough, which is exactly how she got into the school this time. Colette's eyes weren't used to the coming darkness yet, so it was a bit hard to see where she was going and where she was in the school, but eventually, she found herself arriving at the right place: the haunted club building.
'T-This is scarier than I thought it'd be...' Colette said while she looked up at the building, her legs wobbling a bit. She gulped, but then forced a brave smile on her face and told herself, 'But there's nothing in there! It'll be fun! I'll meet more people and we can become friends!' Somehow, telling herself this managed to calm her down a lot.
When she went around the rest of the building, she ended up at the front, spotting Daisuke, Hayato, Kasumi, and Einosuke, waiting at the front. She didn't know them as well as she'd hope too, but it wasn't like she was going to let them all stand in silence, "Hey, you four!" She shouted to them all, although she tried to keep her voice down. It was just so quiet and all, and it didn't seem appropriate to start yelling, so she lowered her voice when she approached the four and asked, "Have you all been here for very long?" She looked around, "We didn't come too early, did we?" Unlike her parents, Colette's Japanese speech as not very smooth and understandable compared to the actual Japanese students. It was a bit choppy with her accent, but at least people could get the idea of what she was saying.
