βWhat? Who are you?β, the girl asked as if she doesn't know anything about Midora, which angered him even more. He looked right at her in the eyes. "Are you playing with me? What happened to the person who used to want to fight to the death with me? Now tell me what exactly are you going to do here right now or I'll end your miserable life right here", he said as a dark orb appeared on his hand.
Midora has never been so enraged like this in a long while, maybe it is because too many things are pouring back to his mind. But when he read the girl's look, he was surprised when he found out that there was no lie in her words. The girl seemed to have totally forgot about everything. Somehow, Midora snapped back to his mind, he looked at the orb on his arm and then turned to Ms. Weatherbee next to them and finally the girl who has fainted because of the trauma. Weird, did something happen to her? Right now Midora know he has to retain his bloodlust, he don't want to be the monster that he used to be anymore.
He swung his arm and everything tied the girl up was loosen and he caught the girl in his arm as she fainted. Even though Midora can't forgive her for what she's done to him in the past, but it doesn't look like she's going to cause any harm for now. He then turned to Ms. Weatherbee, "Sorry for the outrage earlier. Let just say that I know this girl and we don't have a very good history together", he said as he put his palm on the girl's chest, "I can heal her up a bit by chanelling some of my energy to her so that she wouldn't be too exhausted which might harm her life in a state like this, but I'm not a White Mage so I can't restore her. We need to take her to the nursery back in the Academy where she can be treated. Okay, here's goes."
Midora closed his eyes as a light appeared on his palm as streams of energy began to flowing throughout the girl's body. After he think he has channeled enough energy, he put her on his back and carry her. "Let's go", Midora said and they returned to the Academy. On their way, Midora was thinking about how the girl appeared and wondering why she doesn't remember anything. And he decided it'd be for the best to let her enroll in the Academy, as the girl probably don't have anywhere to stay.
When they've reached the entrance, Midora turned to Ms. Weatherbee, "Baron, if I remember than your group is still have an empty spot for a demon, right? So I think you should go and ask Iris to let this girl here to enroll and be put in your group. I will explain why later, but I have to carry her to the nursery first. Go now."
With that, Midora turned into a different path and went straight to the nursery. On his way, he came across with Akiko and Kou. "Oh, I was looking for you, Kou", he stopped and said to Kou, the girl is still resting on Midora's shoulder, though she's stirring a bit, "about 30 minutes later, come to the garden and meet me there, and don't eat anything before that, okay? See you later."
He then continued to walk through a couple of halls. A few moments later, he reached the nursery. He asked the doctor there to treat her and laid her down onto a bed. He swept a drop of sweat on his forehead. So many things have happened today and Midora was hoping that that is it for today.
"So, who is this girl?", the doctor asked while checking the girl, "I don't remember that she's in the new batch of students."
"Don't worry about that", Midora answered, "so, I channeled some of my energy to sustain her a bit earlier but it seems that she's wounded."
"Ah yes, it looks as if she was being chased by someone and got beaten up", the doctor diagnosed, "the wound is not too lethal so I should be able to heal her. Thanks, Mr. Kurayami, I will take care from here and when she woke up, I'll tell you."
"Thanks, doc", Midora replied and went back to his room. He still has a meeting with Kou coming up and he has to tell Mikari about this.
