He took a defensive step back and rubbed at his ears, soothing them from hearing such a loud, sudden sound, also the fact of him having quite impressive, sensitive hearing didn't help. However, once he saw that the male had jumped back so much and dropped his cans, the position he was in now, Ryu couldn't help but let out a short, muffled laugh through closed lips. How amusing that sight was. "Idiot." He simply remarked as he studied the feline. The hissing and spitting being far from intimidating. It was more adorable than intimidating, rather, pathetic. However, Ryu had no doubt that the male could deal some harm with those reflexes and blows he may carry out.

The little insult however, Ryu couldn't deny that it did annoy him just a little. He simply furrowed his brow, arms still crossed as he watched the cat boy pick up the cans. "Not my fault you're so easy to sneak up on. You let your guard down. In such a careful situation too, you looked so intent on not getting caught and yet.." Ryuichi trailed off, leaving his statement at that with a small grin. Suddenly he found himself carry some cans against his chest, instinct telling him hey you have something that's about to fall, don't let it fall, causing himself to adjust his arms and hold the cans properly to stop them from falling. How annoying, he just unintentionally started helping this guy. Now with all cans adjusted properly, he easily held them in one hand stacked on top of each other, they weren't heavy or too big so it was fine. Staring at the male's tail gave him the sudden urge to grab at it, perhaps instinct again? Until suddenly some loud voice caused him to pull back from reaching out for the tail, a female voice yelling something stupid. He noticed another cat walk by past them yelling out some nonsense, he simply glared at her, nothing more, he wasn't one for arguing over stupid things.
