Karsey smiled up at him, "So, what now?" She was still resting her head on his shoulder, and her arms were still draped around his neck. She didn't know what to do or say next, so she just remained silent.
Jamison frowned when Sophia removed his hand from her hair, but she didn't let go of his hand. He felt tiny electric sparks in his hand as she held it. Nobody else could have that effect on him. Not even Maria did.
"Softball huh?" he grinned, "You'll be good at softball, Mathletes, and Academic Decathalon. You're too smart for Mathletes and Academic Decathlon. You're pretty much one of the smartest girls I know." he winked at her.
Another frown appeared on his face as she left go of his hand and turned around, letting go of his hand. Maybe he didn't have the same effect on her. And that sucked. Big time.
He snickered at her joke, "I'm more of a chemistry and biology type of guy. Sports and I, we don't mix well. I can't even imagine myself in those wifebeater shirts that the guys wear when they play volleyball," he cringed at the thought, "I don't have enough muscle to even look good in those."
Jamison hesitantly entwined his fingers with hers, "You're hands look better like this," he gestured to her hand in his with a soft smile.
