"They never tell me anything. I never expected Jeb would ask me to keep an eye on you."
Her words made him sit up, and stare at her with a confused expression upon his face. "Keep an eye on me?" he said. "What makes you think you, or anyone out there can be the boss of me? His voice was challenging.

Azalea watched from across the room as the boy rubbed at his temples; obviously irritated. "I know I was being rough but I was following orders, the old man told me to take care of your wound so that's what I was trying to do. You weren't making it easy."
"Not making it easy?" Azalea said; her voice suddenly rising. "Let's not forget you yelled at me, and dragged across this..this hell like a rag doll. And I'm not making it easy?" She turned her body around to face the corner. She clearly didn't want to see no part of this guy's face. "Just.." her words caught in her throat before she swallowed and continued. "Go away. I don't want you any where near me or in this room. I hate you." She ran her fingers through her hair, then rested her chin on her knees.
