Lekan was, suffice to say, not having a particularly good day. First, a demonic entity shows up on the galaxy's doorstep with the intent to destroy all life. Next, the orbital elevator he was trying to reach had been blocked off by the skymobile police corps. As if things couldn't get any worse, he had been repeatedly shot at, there were explosions all around, and he had nowhere to run and hide.

At this point his mind had more or less given itself up to terror now, and whatever finesse and fine coordination he had earlier in the fight had been thrown out the window. As the frightened squid held on for dear life, he noticed that the eyes covering the Genesior's body started glowing and giving off a bit of heat. Although rational thought was out to lunch, instinct told Lekan that this was a vaguely bad thing.

Attempting to shift himself over to where there weren't quite as many eyes on the Genesior's body, Lekan started trying to poke, prod or bludgeon them with whatever arms he could spare.
