"Hey you, you gonna wake up soon? Today's class will start soon."
These were the words which woke him up. Yasu blinked a few times, his entire body feeling heavy and his mind clouded by drowsiness. The world was too bright, he decided, and thus clenched his eyes shut again. When the light still wouldn't go away, Yasu pulled his pillow over his head and groaned softly, still not fully registering what Aki might have said. Yasu just wanted to sleep. While he usually was a morning person, he had been unable to sleep properly the former night, and thus was utterly tired. Once he was up and going, everything should be fine, though.
"I'm leaving so you should probably get up.."
Yasu removed the pillow from his face and peered at the redhead wearily, sighing deeply. He waited until the redhead was gone before putting the pillow back in place and sitting up in his bed. The purple haired giant yawned and stretched, running his large hands through his longish hair before grabbing a piece of elastic band from his nightstand and using it to tie it into a small ponytail. He pushed aside the covers and got up, glad that he was now alone as he headed to the bathroom. Once he was done with brushing his teeth and getting dressed, he quickly made a toast with jam, eating it on his way to class. Usually the giant would have way more for breakfast- as he required quite a lot to sustain a body his size. Feeling that he was lacking in time, however, Yasu didn't dare risk getting late and settled for something small.
Yasu was a tall and lean young man, yet he had the personality of a teddy bear. He was quiet and kind, not really the sort of person to seek conflict in any sort of situation. Why he was in this place at all would probably be a mystery to most people who met him for the first time. Or perhaps not. Due to his quiet nature and large size, many tended to find him more intimidating than anything. So let me rephrase my earlier statement: It was a mystery to people which actually interacted with him for the first time.
Several people were already assembled in the classroom, though he didn't try to pay them a lot of attention. Instead he simply took a seat in the back and pulled out a book from his school bag. He enjoyed reading, and usually did so a lot in his free time.
