Meredith was trying to decide the best way of sneaking out without anyone noticing when the chosen of Ares spoke to her. She looked at him properly for the first time since arriving and decided, after a moment of observation, that he was actually kind of hot. Underneath all the scars he had a really good physique and she decided she liked his eyes. She couldn't work out what it was about him that interested her as she didn't normally go for the bad boys but something about him caught her interest. She moved her chair closer so she could talk to him easier and nodded when he offered her a coffee.

"I'm Meredith chosen of the great and powerful Apollo." She rolled her eyes as she said that. "And I'd kill for a real drink right about now but a latte makes a good second choice." She said with a grin. "They seem determined to stop us from having any fun don't they. I mean what's next? We've had the dorky name tags and the no drinking, maybe they'll make us have a curfew." She grimaced at the thought.

She looked around at the others. "So who do you reckon you've been stuck with? Me, I'm betting on the blonde dude, it would be just like Apollo to stick me with a guy like that."

She was waiting for his response when she saw the others getting up and heading for another room, she heard someone mention food and her stomach chose that moment to growl impressively loudly. She laughed, not in the least embarrassed, and stood looking once more at Jaime.

"I guess I'm hungry, care to join me?"
