When the girl who was almost a foot smaller then Arin lurched towards her she took a step back out of reflex. Moments later she was gasping and kneeling by her side. 'My goodness! Are you okay sweetie?'
By now the girl was up and gazed at each of them in the room. Her eyes were full of awe in almost each person. 'I'm fine.' She spoke at last but Arin had always been good at telling when people were lying and her radar was so going off. Arin tilted her head in disbelief but said nothing. There was time for that later.
There was an awkward silence for a moment before the door behind them opened. Suprised Arin turned around and her jaw dropped. A boy, barely older then her stood in the door way. He looked hesitantly at them but still asked what this place was.
'Good lord!' Arin voiced at last. 'Are you okay? Are you hurt? Do you need medical attention?' She scurried over to the boy and gently grabbed his arm. 'Come on. You need to sit down.
