=Seriph's rage filled barking of orders would prove to be a mistake for it singled him out as one of the officers in the crowd which worked to corpses advantage. Corpses rocketed toward Seriph whose mind was more on orchestrating the battle as a whole. Two Stratian guards were able to catch Corpse's ambush and fly at him sabers in hand however were not anticipating his trademark shield engaging, knocking them away as if hit by a mobile vehicle.

=Seriph turned his head at the alert but it was too late. As soon as Seriph looked to his left he felt the full impact of the Shields collusion. Seriph was launched off his feet and landed hard on his back about ten feet behind him.

=Vincent Cairo was observing the hooded Stratian armor on the cusp of beheading the ANGEL commander when he heard one of his compatriots cry out that their own commander is under attack. He doubted the Grim armor required any assistance from him and immediately directed his attention on Corpse whom appeared to now be flying up and soon over his own head to rescue his commander. =

=Vincent thought fast and predicted Corpses flight path and began throwing tiny balls of energy up in the air to where he predicted Corpse would go. Cairo recalled in his training that he has slight control of his chi energy to where he can keep the orbs of energy stationary for a short time, having them serve as mines, and even having the capability of detonating them on a whim, much like his plastic explosives. =

(> Lets see if this works... =Vincent says as he holds his hand open lightly pointing at the net of orbs floating above his head. The chip tapped into his brain is triggered to briefly heighten his senses as the sound around him gets muted out and everything he sees at least for a moment slows down.

I got you.. =his voice echoes. Vincent grips his fist and for him time is restored to its normal speed with the introduction of a chain of explosions. By gripping his hand into a fist Vincent successfully was able to control his orb mines into detonating just under Corpse as he flew by. He watched on as the ANGEL's flight pattern took on a lesser grace.
