Marlie had been on break for about 10 minutes when she heard the shrill cry of her name coming from the docks. Know exactly what was coming she slide into the steamy cramped kitchen that she spent most of her time in. "Master Neggy is coming?" her grandfather smirked at the exhausted expression on her face. Marlie groaned in response and maneuvered to the stove that had a bubbling pot of stew on it's burner. She had grown up in this kitchen. After her parents had been killed in a pirate raid of her old home when she was 5, she had lived with her loving grandfather. And for just about as long, she had gotten used to Neggy's never ending appetite. Pushing through the door with a bowl of stew, a fresh made bun and a bottle of beer she casually slide it onto the counter. "Over here Negghead!" she jokingly called to the flustered man near the entrance. "Aw come on!" she hushed under her breath at the sight of the mess her old friend had made. She was used to his klutziness but this was a larger mess than usual. Grabbing a mop, Marlie glanced at the bumbling goof in front of her. "So what's on the schedule for today?" she asked "Overthrowing the mayor? Robbing the junk shop? Oh I know! Let's murder those idiots who keep breaking my tables...Do you have any idea who that might be?" she mocked Neggy. "But seriously...What's the plan for today?" she chuckled, leaning on the handle of her trusty cleaning tool.
