“Lily…” Fio hummed under her breath. She quickly took another bite of her cookie, the blush on her face not leaving her face anytime soon.
"As for my friends, they didn't want to come. So where are your friends? Or are you here alone like me?"
Fio couldn’t help but frown. “Those don’t seem like very good friends to me.” She sighed softly before perking up. But she wasn’t sure if it was for her sake or for Lily’s. “As for my friends, I have a couple here, but they’re busy with other matters.” She cast a nod towards the snack table. There were a couple of guys hanging out there, all of them wearing at least one rainbow bracelet. Fio couldn’t help but chuckle. “If there was a definition for hella gay, it’d be them.” She looked back over to Lily, he gaze gentle. Her mood at shifted; she was practically radiating calmness and kindness. She smiled brightly, hoping she was being welcoming.
“I have a couple of people over there I just met.” Fio nodded in the direction of Peggy and Min. “I’d be willing to introduce you to them. They’re both… interesting.” She let out a quiet laugh.
Fio rested her hand on Lily’s knee, her palm warm against her skin. “Well, I’m your friend now, so you don’t have to be so lonely, ok?”
