Something told Raziya that class was never going to end. With each ticking sound the clock made, it seemed to have no difference. Instead of actually paying attention to the lecture, like the teacher expected her to, she was really just staring at her watch. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. The watch's clicks were mocking her. She swore these were the longest five minutes in her life.
She pursed her lips; at this point she wasn't even trying to hide her impatience. Tick. Half way through the watch's next rotation, the teacher spoke out. Raziya, barely paying attention, nearly flinched-- a part of her thought that the teacher was calling her out. And, not surprisingly, she was just telling Risuki to sit down. Surely, Risuki must've thought she heard the bell again. Raziya flashed a small smile for support, before turning back to her watch.
Her smile grew as the second hand inched closer to the twelve. Unintentionally, she began to count down under her breath. Those sitting besides her could hear her murmur the numbers 3, 2 and 1, and as if on queue, the bell rang. Raziya, unable to help herself, shot out of her seat with a grin. The school day was over, and now it was time to hang out with her friends. She made her way on over to Daniel and Alex, as it seemed to be where her friends were starting to gather.
"Hello!" She had chimed, her smile never fading.
