With this thought in mind and his backpack full of possessions, Julian decided to grab a bite to eat, then head over to his friend Rhoswen's place for a chat. As he walked through the crowded city streets, he noticed the time on a nearby storefront clock; 10:00 AM. Taking that into account, he figured that bagels and coffee would fit the void of his stomach nicely. So, he continued walking through the masses of people throughout the city until he saw a modest bagel place. He ducked inside and ordered three regular bagels and two small coffees. Julian knew even if the bagels didn't strike her fancy, the coffee would, as she had a bit of "thing" for anything with caffeine in it. It worried him sometimes, but he figured weening her off it slowly would be a lot easier then going cold turkey. And, even if the coffee didn't get her talking, how exactly he got the money to pay for them would most certainly make her wonder. With his treats in tow, he exited the shop and headed towards Rhoswen's apartment, whistling a happy tune while he walked.
When he arrived there after twenty minutes of walking, he opened the complex door and walked the various steps up to her floor. At this point, the process took almost no effort as he had walked these steps a thousand times before. After he hit the top of the steps, his eyes darted toward her door and his body quickly followed suit. Julian gave himself a once over and figured that he looked quite alright, all things considering. His white v-neck shirt was pristine with nary a stain to be found, his jeans followed a similar example with only a bit of a frayed edge to it's left leg, and his shoes were a simple black and white that he felt worked with everything else. With his mind now at ease, he gave the door a firm knock and waited for his friend to hopefully answer sometime soon.
