Matt blinked and looked down at the small demon, he had hit a nerve unintentionally. Well, this means she didn't know.
"Chou-chan, I would never lie to you. I swear I wouldn't. Honestly Chou I don't think I could kill your brother or your father if I wanted too, and I won't try to if you forbid me to."
Matt said to Chou in a warm voice, attempting to calm her with just his voice. He realized her father decided not to tell her but. . . Matt felt like she needed to know. Matt took Lucius' letter out of his pocket and showed it to Chou. He wasn't sure how she'd react but he also thought in his heart that if she was close to them and her father basically is just inviting us to murder him and his son then, Chou should know. Matt took a step closer to her and then sat in front of her.
"Chou-chan, I really didn't want to upset you. Please forgive me for causing you this trouble."
Matt bowed his head, his bright red hair falling over his eyes covering his face with a scarlet sheet. He didn't want her to unleash any powers on him, Matt didn't sense danger from her but her brother is practically Satan and her father is Satan's beast-master. This whole endeavor was making Matt uneasy, why would a demon such as Lucius just hand over permission to kill him and his only son? Did he want the legacy to just end? Then after he died what would happen to his daughters? What would happen to Chou? All these thoughts bounced around crazily in his head, Matt didn't want to have to be worried with attempting to kill any demons. Even though this family killed Matt's entire village, his parents were raising him to be a slave for whatever demon family was in charge. His personal feelings had to be put aside, for his parents.
