When Simeon jumped off the counter, Senna took a step back. Her gut told her that he was coming towards her, something she wanted to avoid. But as he stepped closer, she was paralyzed by her own fear. As he did so, he asked her a question. One she kind of expected and would answer honestly. "N-No! I would never dream of assassinating Master Simeon! I've... been granted a chance at life by serving you. I'm happy to serve. I plead that you please, please, please believe me. I... don't know how to kill someone. I don't know how to kill a demon. And... I don't want to kill you especially. You're not hurting me..." After she replied, Simeon reached out and touched her hand. She stiffened out her entire body, jerking her heart back as her eyes welled up with terrified tears. She flinched, ripping her hand away from his rather gentle touch. Her flinching left her crouched with her hands covering her head, her body shaking slightly. Soft whimpers came from the girl as she tried to defend herself from no real threat.
"I-I'm sorry, Master Simeon! Please don't kill me!" It wasn't anything personal against Simeon. She had just heard so many stories about demons, and encountering them first-hand back in her hometown left a rather poor impression on her about the nature of demons. The ones who enslaved her literally killed anyone who disobeyed or acted out against them. It was only natural that one in her position might fear for her life here.
