Princess? I wonder why she is calling me that. I think one of my ex’s called me that before. She simply nodded in reply to Lynda before she followed her and listened. Fay stayed as closely behind her as she could without bumping into her by mistake if she suddenly stopped. She nodded in thanks when Lynda held the door open for her.
Her eyes scanned her surroundings as they walked towards the field. She tensed when Lynda suddenly ducked her head behind a wall. Fay nodded in reply when she was signaled to keep quiet. She took a deep breath to keep her expression blank with only a small smile on her face. She’s around the corner? I wonder what she looks like. Lynda described her a bit, but still. At least when I see her I will know who she is. I doubt many people have pink hair here.
Once in front of the cafeteria, Fay pushed her pestering thoughts away. She looked over at Lynda and just smiled in reply. At least I won’t be having lunch alone. Hopefully they have decent food here. When Lynda opened the door and gestured her smile widen. A small laugh escaped her lips when Lynda bowed. Fay walked through the door and glanced back at Lynda.
“Thank you for getting me here safely Lynda. I hope they have something good to eat,” she said. She went up to the line and grabbed two trays. After she held a tray out to Lynda when she got close enough. “After you,” she added. She leaned against the counter as she waited for Lynda to go in front of her and get her food first. Fay finally had time to stay still and listen to her racing heartbeat. She looked in her surroundings carefully.
I really can’t believe I had to sneak over here. I will need to talk to this Addie person sooner rather than later. She sounds crazy though. Why would she want some of my hair? It is nice, but still. Why does crazy stuff have to happen to me here? I just want to go home and be alone…and j- She stopped her thoughts and pushed them away. Fay felt a sigh ready to come out, but she stopped it from coming out. She glanced at Lynda.
