Rosa sipped her coffee as she waited for her husband and son to come downstairs. She added a lot of milk and a lot of sugar. She prefered lattes and mochas but she could never make them as good as at the coffee shop. They had a professional machine there that she loved. When it wasn't too busy she'd sneak away and make herself drinks. She sighed at the thought of it.
"Hey mom." Tyler said as he came down the stairs. Apparently her threat to him work. He kissed her cheek and sat down to eat.
"Hi baby, did you sleep well?" She asked him, laughing when he could only respond with a nod because he was scarfing down his food.
"I wager they've already had breakfast my dear. And we've only got one officer and he's rounder than the full moon. If he eats anymore he'll eclispe." Art called down to her.
Rosa snickered, shaking her head. Her dark curls bounced around her cheeks. "That man is never full!" She called back then added. "Another person whose never full is your son and I'm pretty sure he's started on your half of the food!"
"Have not." Tyler said with a mouth full of food so his voice was muffled.
"Don't talk with your mouth full, love." She told him.
A few minutes later she watched her husband come downstairs. "Looks delicious darling. We have some delieveries this morning, hopefully some new books in time for the festival." She leaned over and kissed his cheek after he sat down.
"Yup, I should be getting some rare herbs and some new things today too." She told him with a smile. She finished off her coffee then set down her mug. She started eating her food. She preferred to wait till everyone was at the table to eat her food.
She finished before they did since she didn't eat as much. She smiled, watching them. They always amused her with how much they could eat. "Better hurry, Ty you're gonna be late for school." She warned their son.
