Gywn smiled at Maria, about to inquire again as to what was wrong, but Alex showed up before she got the chance. Perhaps it was fate, or just luck on Marias' part, but after his arrival she completely forgot about it. Things tended to slip from her mind easily, if only because she always had a million things she was trying to focus on. "Hey Alex," she added in a beat after Maria had said her greeting, but she let the other girl take the conversation from there as she felt her phone vibrate. All she had to see was the first few words of Azalea's text and she was typing a reply. Sure! I assume you sent this to Maria too, since I just saw her grab her phone, so I'll just follow her :P. Over the course of... well, she couldn't remember the exact timeframe, but somehow she, Alex, Maria, and Azalea had all become friends, and though some of them were closer than others, they all tended to get along great. And for someone like Gywn, who had mostly spent her teenage years shut up in her room studying, it was nice to have friends.
Well, it was nice having friends until you found out they knew a kinda-creepy-but-also-handsome-probably-a-perv Italian(?) guy. Not that Gywn was one to judge, but she sort of was. The way he acted immediately set her off, she wasn't sure if she found it fascinating or annoying, and then the way he winked at her like they had some sort of secret, just between the two of them, well... She wasn't sure how to feel about it. It was interesting, to say the least, and she decided that he intrigued her more than he bothered her. But she had only known him for a few moments now, and that was bound to change. Something inside her threw caution to the wind though, and she found herself winking back, feeling very silly. "Buongiorno, signore. Piacere di conoscerti. My name is Gywnevere." Her Italian was okay, at best, she didn't have the accent but she did speak it well, and even if it sounded off she at least pronounced things correctly. She wasn't sure if he cared to know her, but if he knew her friends, she might as well introduce herself.
