"What are you speaking of? There has been no dangers since the fall of Sauron." he asked and she wasn't sure coming there had been a good idea after all. Brurzum would rip her apart limb by limb if he found that she was the one who'd betrayed him. Not that she was on any particular side, however because of the darkness that radiated off of him, she had an instant connection with the beast.
"The father of all dragons has been awoken." She breathed the words quietly almost cautiously. "He intends to bring a terrible darkness upon Middle Earth." she breathed, her words were stained with truth, although she wasn't sure the king would believe her. All she had was her words. She watched him make his way back to his throne and she could tell he didn't want to believe her. He wasn't the Legolas she once knew and although she'd seen his change for sometime now it was still painful to see in person.

"And how would you come to know such a thing when none else have taken notice?" He spoke, his tone harsh, because he didn't believe her she knew that. She held his eyes, she couldn't show him, she had no proof and if he waited it would be too late.
"My words are honest. I have no physical proof, that I can lay at your feet." She breathed, her tone begging him to believe her. "What reason do I have to lie to you my love." she whispered in a language that only he could understand, it was something the two of them had made thousands of years ago, when they'd been inseparable, she wondered though if he even remebered.

"If this is all true then we must do something. Not acting will only bring destruction and death to the world." he spoke and she stayed quite watching him. "I will need to travel to Lothlórien. Lord Celeborn will need to be informed and then it must be decided the best course of action to take. Thank you for bringing this to my attention." he spoke, his tone was emotionless, like she was simply one of his guards that had brought him this news. He was cold and she hated him for it.

She turned then to walk away, she was going to leave and retreat back to her home in the Misty Mountains far away from him. Whatever became of Middle Earth now, was dependent on him, she'd done her part as far as she was concerned. However, the way he was acting she just couldn't let it go, the way he treated her so coldly and she didn't care if talking back to him got her punished or even killed. He needed to be reminded that he wasn't any better then her, she'd been a princess before her race had been killed fighting along his race. She turned back to him and walked up to his throne standing right in front of him holding his eyes fearlessly.

"You are becoming your father Legolas." she breathed in their language. "You don't see what this power has done to you. Your going to loose everything" her words were promising him, because she'd seen it. "You are no better then me. Need I remind you darling, that she's replacing me." she breathed, pain stained her voice as she referred to his new fiancé, still speaking in Yumaron ,their language. "Or have you forgotten?" she whispered.

She didn't give him a chance to answer, she didn't want to hear it. She simply turned then and headed for the door. She didn't care if she ever saw him again. She'd said her peace, she'd made her point. She doubted her words have even gotten through to him and if he stopped her, she assumed it oly be to punish her for talking to him like she had.

He was quite enjoying himself dancing with the young princess. Her smile reflected her light, young, bright, and beautiful just like her. He'd always been quite fond of her, he assumed it was because he cared a lot for her brother, the two elves had been close before Helms Deep and they only grew closer after and he'd become quite close with the princess.

When the song interrupted another started almost instantly however they were interrupted by a younger elf. Calemiron, someone he was not so fond of. The boy was a nuisance, he was either pulling pranks on others or butting in where he was not welcome, in this case Haldir's time with Aeweth. However, Haldir couldn't not speak out of turn it would be inappropriate. So he merely sighed and handed Aeweth's hand gently to the other elf.

The young princess apologized, but he merely smiled reassuring her that it was not a problem, before he made his rounds and tended to business, perusal. However, he kept a close eye on Aeweth, Cale had always gave him a bit of an uneasy feeling, but it was not his place to say anything about the young elf. He let out a relieved breath as he watched her leave Cale's side and step out onto the balcony. He did not wish to bother her, he assumed she needed time to herself. Instead, he slipped out of the glittering ballroom where his brothers and a few other guards meet by his side almost immediately. He winced when a pain from his faded injury shot through his spine.

"My job here is finished for the evening." he breathed. "The princess will enjoy the rest of the party, we however will walk the perimeter." he ordered, Haldir figured, Aeweth would not want to be held done with an older elf like himself, she'd want to mingle and be free of protection, not feel like her brother was here with her. "There is a dark essence in the air. One that I don't find very pleasing." he said honestly. "It may only be a wolf or another creature, however we will not take any chances." he said simply.

His men nodded and agreed as they headed outside. He glanced up to see the young princess up upon the balcony, she seemed happy at the moment and he was glad for her. She needed her own celebration, he knew she was easily forgotten in Mirkwood with her father being locked away and the attention always on her brother. he sighed as he headed into the woods for a long night of patrolling.
