As Iven was approaching the bar, he checked his watch briefly to see it was an hour behind from what the clocks at home had read. At this point he had no idea what the real time was, but if his wrist watch was correct then he was indeed late. He simply frowned at the watch with a puzzled expression until he heard a voice clearly directed towards him. He looked up to see a rather cheerful man, for some reason he had forgotten the name of which was rather terrible of him. The words that came from his mouth however made it clear he was the one that had hired him.
"I certainly hope you weren't waiting too long for me, I apologise." Iven smiled a most charming smile that seemed to make others feel more comfortable around him, but it was almost too alluring, perhaps he should work on that, not looking so devious. But being devious was so perfectly part of his nature it was hard to hide the little horrors that he planned in his mind.
"Haha! You are most welcome, wow am I really that recommended? I'm flattered. I will have to live up to those expectations then." Iven of course knew he was rather popular as a bartender but he hadn't really thought that others would recommend him, he actually felt rather proud of that fact. He chuckled shortly after he had finished his sentence, Alesso so far seemed just as charming as himself though, but of course Iven knew this man was more than likely, a Vampire or something else he felt the need to murder. He would take no action for a long time though of course, he knew nothing about him. Iven wasn't stupid.
The Hunter followed Alesso as he lead him to where he would be working, he was rather glad he'd have someone to help him behind the bar, the place look very extravagant and a bit more overwhelming from what he was used to. It was certain the bar would be very busy tonight.
"Ah wonderful! I look forward to working with her." He commented. Shortly after, that was when Alan caught his eye as he approached them, he wasn't hard to spot, especially looking that fine. Iven concentrate. He could already feel himself losing his usual composed, cool and charming demeanor, god damn he hated feeling so embarrassed, he hadn't felt like this before. And just seeing Alan get all flustered and struggle to make eye contact
Oh my god he's so cute. Iven was drowning here. Pull yourself together dammit! Act natural. At least he knew for certain now that Alesso was obviously not Human to be able to tell that they knew each other from smell it seemed. The way Alan explained how they knew each other though made it hard for him not to laugh, instead a wide grin formed on his face, he was really happy but it was clear Alan didn't seem to want Alesso to know about, what they did. Didn't mean he couldn't have fun with it.
"Aaah I see, yes Alan certainly seems like a very capable and intelligent man." He replied to Alesso. Yes it seemed Iven had collected himself now, his face didn't feel so, hot.
As soon as Alan spoke up once more however, the way he looked into his eyes, Iven didn't know how to feel, nervous perhaps?
"Hmm, and I am glad to have such an, attractive host." Iven said it openly with no shame as he looked Alan up and down, studying every detail of the man with such a promiscuous look in his eyes, undressing him with his stare. Iven was in a fairly cheeky mood now it seemed, he'd probably need to be a bit less careless though, he is supposed to be professional. He decided to quickly change the subject, he could image Alan burning him with his glare at this point.
"I love what you've done with the place, it looks amazing, I can see you put a lot of thought into this event." This was directed mainly towards Alesso to hopefully change what might be running through his mind at this point, but it was really a statement towards them both. Iven spoke as he attended to the bar, simply getting comfortable and familiar with where everything was. Iven was the type who enjoyed doing little tricks here and there with the drinks and glasses and what not to entertain the guests. He was very skilled with his hands after all, playing with those knives seemed to come in handy with the normal folk as he liked to call them. Back to the collected, charming Iven, with a welcoming smile, yes the night was definitely in his favour.
