Nimethel was relieved when the captain decided to call off the attack. Had it not been for Dymon voicing her own concerns, Galeon just might have gone through with doing battle with the ships. She never was particularly eager at the thought of fighting the Federation, and silently thanked the gods for being able to avoid another skirmish.

The captain's shouting from earlier had roused the entire crew from whatever they had been doing previously, and now they were all assembled on the deck for the convenience of being given orders. Nim clearly heard a remark from a certain flirtatious half-breed, flashing a smile in his direction. She would have retorted as per usual, but right now there were more pressing matters to attend to.

Taking the helm, Nimethel held it steady while checking the position of the sun in the sky and which way the wind was blowing, adjusting the helm accordingly so that they could slip by the patrol ships. Then, taking some rope, she lashed the helm in place so that she wouldn't have to be holding it constantly until they reached the nearest island. With the course set she followed Galeon to his quarters, choosing to wait outside the door until he called her in.
