"Yo, you got Pyawasit. What'cha want?"
"Dude! You haven't even gotten out of bed, have you? It's, like, the Meister and Weapon partner choosing day! You gotta freakin' book it, man!"
"Oh shit... my alarm didn't go off!"
Barry left the call, threw his phone against the wall, luckily it didn't break, and jumped out of bed. Took a very quick shower, brushed his teeth, and brushed his hair at the same time. After that, he threw on his normal clothes, his winter cap and grey jacket with jeans and shoes. He grabbed his phone, wallet, and his little name tag. He ran up the stairs into the busy cafe. Then he made way to the stairs, ran up and grabbed his backpack from the corner, and ran out the door.
He raced down the roads with some other teens, who where about three times the size of Barry. Whilst running, he placed on the name tag and tossed on the backpack. Nothing could be worse than missing out on a day like this! He wouldn't have a Meister, and he could get in trouble! Ah! So many things could happen!
So, he finally reached the terrible, terrible staircase up to the DWMA. He stopped in front of it, and took a deep breath, knowing this would be the real challenge. He placed his left foot on the first step, and then began to run up. Sadly, on the third step he tripped over a loose shoestring on his shoe. The back of his head smashed into the ground below before anything else. Blood seeped out of the small cut, but no serious damage was made. Again, he got up and trundled up the steps, with a hand on the wound to stop the bleeding. Finally he got to the top, with weary knees and a small scratch on the back of his head. He made way into the giant building and sat down in a room designed for partnerships to be formed. I believe it's going to be a classroom once everyone settles down, but for now their was just Barry and a few others, along with what seemed to be a teacher. Thinking that maybe he should stay in the room and rest was a good plan, he sat down against the wall on the opposite side of the door. For now, he'd wait for some people to come to him, and maybe later he'd go see about finding a partner.
