Nodding along to Ryu, he cautiously scanned around him, " I trust your instincts... there is a foul wind abound tonight" he said, it seemed to make sense that some force was after him, even without that, any opposing force would not take kindly to two knights, even this far from the city. Locking eyes briefly with Ryu he watched the flinch in his eye, as pain tore through him.. But he reluctantly followed him As he was told
Feeling Ryu lean on him more, the concern grew even larger inside Nero, this pace could not keep up, despite the danger. Ryu wasn't going to last the night let alone three days " Come Ryu... we must close those wounds" it was a risk that Nero was about to take, for when a knight said they were going to close a wound, they were going to burn it closed. The problem with starting a fire now, would be simply if someone was following it was a big clue in where to head, but it needed to be done. " You can tell me the stories from your Nana" he said seeming now to settle his thoughts as he focused on helping his friend.
Placing Ryu down gently, he left to scour the area, collecting all the dry sticks, shrubs and anything deemed good enough to burn, it did not need to be a big fire, just hot enough to heat a sword tip up. " We should be far enough away that anyone who sees this and comes to investigate, we will be long gone.. im taking no argument.. so help me out and show me the wound" Reaching into a pouch onto his side he pulled out a small chunk of flint. For now he had just some shrubs and smaller twigs piled up for tinder. Drawing his sword his used its edge to strike down on the chunk of flint, sending sparks into the tinder, with embers now appearing, Nero leaned down, to gently blow on the fire, nursing it into life. Once a flame was established, he piled on more twigs, and buried his sword tip into the flame as he glanced across at Ryu " So did your Nana have any stories about the gods?"
