It was about five minutes to seven and Daniel anxiously entered Mano's Place for the second time that day. He was supposed to meet Hiwalani here. As he stepped through the door frame, the music blared in his ears and there was so many people dancing, laughing and drinking he initially felt slightly overwhelmed. He even almost felt guilty for spending time at a Kealoha party. After all, he was after their hotel. With a heavy sigh, he decided to shake those thoughts from his mind and focus on the night. He had changed into an off white broadcloth with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows with a pair of jeans. The music was endearing to his ears and the dancing made him feel excited. He headed towards the back for the patio where Noa said she would meet him.

As Daniel walked onto the patio he immediately noticed Noa and could not help but feel slightly mesmerized by her beauty. There was just something about her smile that was so enchanting to him. Though it did not damage his demeanor or ease. Seeing Noa, he waved with a smile before heading over, ”You look stunning, Hiwalani.” The way he spoke her name so effortlessly you'd think he at least knew how to speak some Hawaiian. He was practically a natural. Taking a seat next to her he gave a half smile while he somewhat slouched back into the chair.

”What an amazing party. Your family sure does know how to run the show. It's been a long time since I last came to a luau,” Daniel said with a light-hearted chuckle. It was almost as though he were in disbelief he was there. His body had the faint smell of cologne and his hair was neatly gelled, with a smooth cowlick at the front of his hairline. On his left wrist he wore a silver rolex watch. He was looking quite fashionable as ever. ”May I buy you a drink?” He lightly tapped on the arms of the chair while biting on his lower lip in synchronization with the music. He never tore his eyes away from Noa's. Daniel always found it inappropriate to stare down your date like a piece of meat.

Meanwhile, Keokolo who had already fancied himself three beers had noticed Daniel strutting towards the back. He was shirtless, only wearing a pair of green shorts along with his necklace. Typical Keokolo. He took another swig of his beer now distracted from the group of friends he was speaking to. He excused himself as he walked away feeling somewhat tipsy already. Though the party just started, he was not even close to being finished until he was passed out butt naked on the floor somewhere. It was his usual routine at a luau. Keo had the full intention of embarrassing Noa tonight, but he decided against starting with it now. He'd wait until later when the moment was prime. Suddenly, Keo noticed a haole mingling with the maoli. She had beautiful blonde curls and a provocative body shape. Would he go for it? She was haole after all, but way too attractive to pass up. It was decided. Keokolo smoothly shoved through the crowd while taking a few more gulps of his beer bottle. As he neared the girl he began to bounce up and down, dancing to the music while flexing his muscles hoping to impress the girl.

”Hey babe, I have a question,” Keokolo said smoothly with unwavering confidence. He glanced at the girl, trying his best not to stare at her chest while briefly sucking in his teeth. ”You see, I plan on going for a long walk soon so I was wondering if you could hold this?” Keo then extended his hand gesturing for the pretty lady to grab his, ”That is, after we dance of course.”

Keokolo winked with a smile, revealing some of his almost perfectly white teeth. This babe was drop dead gorgeous, and he'd be damned to pass up this opportunity. His body rocked side to side, ready to seriously get into his party groove. Keo always had a method with women, he'd start with some smooth pick up line, buy them a few drinks on the house, then take the 'lucky' lady somewhere private to have some more fun. Plus, if he failed with this one there were plenty of other women dying to be with him at this party. He had saw Noa's friend Ipo-Lahela Mahelona eying him from the bar, but he was up for a challenge that night. Ipo-Lahela friend was a bit too easy for him.
