“Schemes? You make it all sound... evil,” he laughed softly as he took another sip of his drink. “It's all just business.” He gave a shrug and watched with eyes of desire as she blackmailed the bartender, finding himself to be aroused by the sweetness of her voice despite being so harsh. Even her bark is like a drop of honey... He bit down on his bottom lip and lifted his chin some, watching as the bartender tried to adopt a kinder charade while pouring their shots. He downed the remainder of his liqueur before taking the shot poured for him, downing it just as quickly as she had. His eyes followed her, hungrily so, as she made her way to the floor with her enticing dance. While there were many other women dancing about, most of them far more scantily clad than she, his attention was focused solely on her.
He was about to slide from his seat to join her before he was met by an angry, and apparently drunken, Keokolo Kealoha. He lifted a brow as the young native threatened him. He wasn't afraid this time, lifting his chin defiantly with a smirk as Keo made the universal signal for “I'm watching you” while also saying it before walking away. He was positive that the royal brat wouldn't dare to so much as raise a fist to him in such a public setting, inebriated as he might be. Shaking his head, he watched Keokolo turn his attention to his sister and Daniel. At the sight of Hiwalani-Noa out of her tribal gear and fierce paint, he could not help but to gawk. Her face was lit up with a smile and the bikini she wore... Oh, how it so tightly hugged her curves, as abundant as they were. Her flesh seemed to glow in the flickering firelight and that of the strobe lights. His eyes were drawn again to her breasts as they bounced with her body. Such a beautiful savage...
It seemed as though Keokolo was looking to pick a fight with the two of them and Kick was immediately sure that he didn't want a part of it. Instead, he looked over to see that the bartender had poured them another round of shots. Tearing his gaze from Hiwalani, he grabbed the two shot glasses and handed one to Ursula, watching the way she swayed her hips and bit down on her lip. He swayed with her in a much less graceful manner, finding it a bit strange. He wasn't much of a dancing guy and could just barely imitate the sort of random movements that he's seen Ian Somerhalder do as Damon Salvatore in Vampire Diaries, managing to muck that up a bit. “Actually, I do. But my preferred style is best done on a bed. Or beach. Backseat of a car.” He smirk suggestively as he dropped none-too-subtle hints about his intentions while he circled her after taking his shot and tossing the glass into a nearby trashbin.
Hiwalani-Noa found herself thoroughly in a most enjoyable mood as she closed her eyes and danced with Daniel, her smile never leaving her face. She fist pumped with him, bouncing around as she watched Kimo and Marcus engage in a danceoff. “Oh, you haven't seen anything yet; You should see my house parties.” She laughed some more, seeming to be just bubbling over with giggles as the infectious music and Daniel's smiled moved her. Cassidy gave her a knowing look that made her just roll her eyes. She easily kept her energy flowing, having a copious amount of stamina to spend. Still, her tan body was glistening with sweat and her hair was beginning to stick to her as she whipped her neck around, a few people laughing as they got hit with the locks.
At the suggestion of drinks, she gave a bob of her head and yelled over the music. “Definitely!” She took his hands once more, noticing how soft they were, and tugged him through the crowd of sweaty maoli and haole jumping around and grinding against one another. It was definitely a great way to start off the summer, partying all night long with the people she grew up with. She could see her brothers around, only the older ones and the other three halves of her set. This luau was certainly not for any children – The others were at home with Mano and Ailani. Akamu was supervising, along with Lilo and Keoni since they were the oldest and Malie couldn't come. It certainly wouldn't look good on her aunt Malie at this point if she was caught doing a keg stand with a bunch of frat boys chanting “chug” around her.
Keoni watched from his perch near the stage, keeping a close eye on his family and making sure that there wasn't too much trouble. He sucked in his cheeks at the sight of Noa seeming to enjoy herself with Daniel. He didn't approve but he knew that he had no place to tell her what she could and couldn't do; The Kealoha family had always placed a high value on personal freedom. However, he would be watching the two of them until the end of the summer, suspicious of Daniel's intentions. He didn't want Hiwalani-Noa hurt and he certainly didn't want his family hurt because of it. He was more than aware of her desire for relationships but inability due to Keokolo. Part of him said that it wasn't his business while the other half assured him that it was completely his business. Such was a terrible situation to be stuck in. His eyes narrowed as she laughed her way into the restaurant, bumping into Keo. Noa turned to see her drunk brother a lifted a brow but took a step to go around him, still intent on ignoring him.
She was followed and she didn't mind that quite so much. She was allowed to enjoy her food in peace, wading a bit further out into the water until it lapped at her legs. She looked around for a trash bin, but was unable to find one. Sighing, she headed to leave the water and made her way back to the party. She couldn't help but to smile a bit at how happy everyone was, though she had to dodge a bit to keep random sorority girls and frat boys from pulling her into a selfie. The last thing she needed was for the authorities to find her photograph online only to track her down and haul her off to prison. She was way too pretty for prison.
She found her way to the center of a dance circle and bust out a few of her own moves, earning her own cheers as she made a show of mambo mixed with shuffling along with a backflip, ending with the splits. She had to get up quickly to avoid getting sand into places that it shouldn't exist in, deciding that she'd go and find Keokolo to tease him a bit more. She didn't see any harm in it and, with perhaps a few bad judgment calls on her end, she might end with a fling by the end of the night. Unless she decided to string him along for a while and make him really work for it. She hadn't decided quite yet, trying to decide if she really wanted sex that badly.
She had found him eventually, after pushing through enough people, watching him angrily staring off with a girl and her date. She assumed that it might be an ex that broke his heart, but moving around so that she could see the girl's face allowed her to see that she was his sister. Ophelia knew of Hiwalani-Noa but, she was unaware of the feud between the two. Curious as to what would go down, she quickly grabbed a drink and a stool, taking a front row seat while she watched in a less than subtle manner.
