The King groaned in his seat, he glanced at Jason once trying to figure if he had another task for the boy, he couldn't think of one right on the spot, but he didn't dismiss Jason, just incase, though he signalled for the head of the guard to come over. "I want a letter written to the English King, inquiring about Isabelle." He never referred to Isabelle as his daughter, maybe when she was young, three or four he did. "It isn't to be demanding, Make sure the words are chosen carefully, and make a statement saying we already know she is gone and has been taken by James, it will avoid time wasting by him denying it." He waved his hand in a dismissive manner, before looking at Jason again. "You are free to go."
Rielle sat up hearing a knock at her door, she also heard one of the guards in her room pull his sword, she just gestured with her hand for him to put it away, if the person was dangerous, the guards outside would have done something. "Come in." Rielle looked surprised when Elizabeth walked into her room, the Queen rarely came near here unless she had to. "I wasn't expecting you." Rielle said softly in a non offensive way. "No one ever does my dear." Elizabeth replied with a small smile. "Now." She said signalling for another person to come in, Rielle held her breath seeing the wedding dress. "We don't have much time, as my Husband doesn't think things through, we need to get the final fittings for your dress." Rielle nodded slightly glancing over her shoulder at Gabriella who just shrugged and gave her a sympathetic smile. "Gabby, can you please go and spend time with Annalise? I want her to have someone for company." Rielle asked giving Gabriella her own escape since she knew her friend hated sitting and watching dress fitting. Gabriella nodded standing up heading for the door. "Go with her." Rielle said to the two guards standing just inside the door and they nodded following Gabriella out.
Rielle stood letting the seamstress pull the dress tight, fixing things here and there, though Elizabeth was awfully quiet making Rielle uneasy. It seemed like forever before she spoke. "Your being very cautious." Rielle assumed that she was inferring to the guards, Rielle usually had her men doing other things not guarding, but Jason had told her to, so she did. "I'm not taking any chances." Elizabeth nodded slightly looking Rielle in the eyes. "Francis thinks your not very wise, that you don't know what your doing." Elizabeth started. "He is to thick skulled. You are smart, the dangerous kind of smart, seemingly predictable but very unpredictable. Just like your mother. Francis said the same thing about her." Rielle tensed at the mention of her mother, she didn't often think of her mother at it usually felt like a stab to the heart. "Why are we talking about my mother?" Rielle asked the question softly as if she were about to cry, she felt like she was about to. "Your parents were killed because they were a threat, a large one, i'm assuming you know who to." Rielle nodded knowing she was talking about England. "Your Mother she wasn't careful, and it got her killed, your father killed, and almost you killed." Rielle looked Elizabeth right in the eye. "You speak like you know her." Elizabeth stood going over to Rielle, brushing some of Rielle's hair away, Rielle couldn't remember a time Elizabeth was this kind to her. "We were good friends. I don't want you making the same mistakes." Rielle didn't respond, she was told by people she was a lot like her mother, but she had never really taken any thought to it, just thanked the person and then pretended she hadn't heard it.
Gabriella walked into the infirmary smiling when she Annalise, she walked over quickly sitting on the bed giving her friend a gentle hug, she wanted to hold Annalise tightly but didn't know if she was sore. "I am so happy you are alright." Gabriella said softly. "I was worried sick, Rielle was worried sick...Even Sebastian was worried sick, he had all of the guards running around like chickens with their heads cut off." Gabriella laughed a little, she searched the room for Jason, but he wasn't there which she found rather odd but wasn't to concerned about it, she was more concerned about cheering Annalise up, Gabriella knew she probably hated being stuck in a bed even if it was for her own good, while Rielle was insistent on dealing with everything that was going on alone, like usual. Gabriella smiled gently, they were all so stubborn, each and everyone of them.
Gabriella sat with Annalise for a while the room was lit but the candles as it had grown dark, though she still asked for the guards to bring some books for them. "We might as well do something." Gabriella smiled, she had become a custom to reading in the low light of the flickering candles as she did it on a regular basis when she couldn't sleep, a bad habit she had picked up from Rielle who had done it since she could read. She wasn't planning on leaving Annalise anytime soon, after thinking she might never see her again, she didn't really want to leave.
"What are you idiots waiting for?" The man snapped. "Go and get her, she could get away." He shoed the men off, and they began their search, Isabelle couldn't have gotten far, but it seemed she had disappeared in the darkness making it very hard for them to find her. "Don't stop searching until you find her. Look everywhere" They all said to each other, they had to find her, it wasn't optional.
