Leona shifted her weight onto one foot and put her hand on her hip. "And exactly what effect is it that you think I'm going for?" she asked, the hint of a smile touching her lips. She was intruigued; she didn't know whether to dismiss this boy or humor his insight. "I was just trying to avoid the commotion." She gestured toward the club stands, flicking her eyes up at the burning paper cranes.
She didn't think herself in danger of being exposed by this boy. He seemed more amused by what she'd done than anything, and his attitude suggested he wasn't likely to rat her out to anyone.
