Neptune waited patiently for the girl called Anais to be finished with her conversation. It was a good thing the female finished when she did as an older vampire had begun gravitating towards them and it was making Neptune nervous. Not that she allowed this to show, the servant remained perfectly pleasant despite the fact that she was half naked in a room full of well dressed people. It was embarrassing of course, but there was not much the ghoul could do about it. Hopefully her ragged appearance would not sully the good Mr. White's name and she did not want to impose on the vampire's hospitality. As soon as Neptune healed she would begin her investigation of what happened to her Master. Enoch was careful, he would not simply take off.
Anais turned to Neptune then and told her to follow and so Neptune did. "Yes, I've been here twice before with my Master." The first time Enoch and Mr. White had been enemies striking negotiations about something or another, the second time they had come as guests for a gambling night of some sort. Neptune did not enjoy recalling that night however as something happened that she did not want to think about. The ghoul followed the other woman into the lift, listening as it creaked and clanked, apparently straining to pull the two small girls up. "Yes going up the stairs in this condition would be quite tasking." Neptune echoed and leaned against the wall as her leg was beginning to hurt.
The doors to the lift opened and Neptune followed Anais out. She used the wall for support, glad that they reached the room quickly. Neptune entered the area, glancing around the room. The Ivory Tower? Had the space been named before Anais arrived or perhaps there was some sort of story behind it? "Is there a reason for this title?" Neptune inquired and took a seat, relief flooding through her leg. She had thought about the previous question, weighing the pros and cons of taking part in the festivities downstairs. "I think I would quite like to attend the ball," she had been excited to go before Enoch's disappearance as Neptune had never been to this type of party. "Do you sew often?" Neptune asked curiously.
She watched as Anais approached her with the first aid kit. "There's no exit wound, so no the bullet did not come out." She had not seen it fall out in her run and it felt like something was stuck inside of the wound so Neptune believed that the piece of led was stuck inside. Neptune hissed, squeezing onto the arms of the chair she was in. "Don't be bothered by my cries, just keep going." The female urged, wanting to get patched up as soon as possible.
