Adam had to calm down and stop thinking so much on first impressions and what others thought of him as he glanced to his wrist watch checking the time in paranoia. A part of him demanded he not be late, but another part of him compensated saying it was okay to soak the new environment in and be a little late. After all it might just be the only time he got away with it because he was new.
He threw his bag into his locker and drew out his timetable to see where he was next heading but what he saw was not what he had enrolled for. His brows pulled together with a light pout before he sighed to himself and consulted the map again, this time to find the office and discuss the error. He closed his locker and headed for the detour.
The office was apparently near the entry to the building so Adam tried his best to retrace his steps without glancing at the map as much and moved with more haste. It didn't last long before he had to surrender to glance to his hand that held the map again, and in those few seconds of a glance, his feet had made contact with someoneโs legs causing him to stumble a little. Adam quickly spun around to see the girl sitting on the floor against the brick wall. โI am so sorry! I didnโt even see you!โ He moved to a sort of crouch, hovering his hands by her making sure she was okay. Not that it had been that hard, more of a nudge but it certainly wasn't good of him to kick her and keep going. โIโm sort of a mess at the moment. Iโm really nervous about being here,โ he told her and smiled a little. โIโm Adam.โ He held out his hand for a shake.
