Madison was shocked to find how nice this male was being to her. Most of the time the first person she ever seems to run into anywhere is a complete jerk. But she just smiled and watched as he called over some help to get the boxes out of her car. Well, if she knew about all of this, her moving would have been done by now. Though in a way she was glad that she hadn't noticed it or she might not have had the pleasure to meet Seth.
As she listened to him answering her question she nodded her head. She couldn't believe that he had spent four years living in an apartment. Honestly if this were up to her, she would never step foot into an apartment. Everyone just lives too close to each other and most of the time you hardly have any privacy. But it was something she was willing to deal with. Just to get out from underneath her parent's roof.
"Well, I just think it was a way for my parents to get rid of me. They always thought of me as being a down right pain in the ass. They paid for the apartment before telling me about it and practically kicked me out on my ass and yes, I've always lived in New York. Born and raised in Brooklyn."
Madison smiled as they made it to her apartment, she unlocked her door and pushed it open as she listened to Seth speaking to her. She turned her full attention to him as he finished. She couldn't help but feel a little flustered when he went to write his number on her hand. Though in a way she didn't mind it at all. This was a very nice guy and maybe they could form a great friendship. At times like this, she really needed some friends so it wouldn't be a bad thing.
She watched as Seth walked backwards, welcoming her to the building again. She waved at him just before he turned around and went on his way. She then sighed as she noticed the help bringing her the rest of her boxes. "Thanks, just leave them here and I can take care of the rest," she stated as she began bringing the boxes into her apartment.
Madison finally finished lugging her boxes inside and decided that it was time for a cigarette before starting to unpack everything. As she reached for her purse and slung it over her shoulder, she happened to glance down at her hand, finding Seth's number. She smiled and pulled her phone out of her purse and entered the number into her phone so she would be sure she truly had the number somewhere she wouldn't lose it. The brunette slid her phone back inside her purse and tucked her hair behind her ears as she stepped out of the apartment, locking the door behind her.
She stopped in front of the elevators and pressed one of the buttons, waiting on the doors to open. She crossed her arms in front of her chest as she waited. A few seconds later she stepped into the elevator and went on her way down to the lobby then out the doors. She pulled her pack of Marlboro Menthols out of her purse and lit one up as she leaned against the brick wall, taking a long drag from the cigarette.
