After asking her his question Zeke kind of expected the typical answer you know something vague that didn't mean much like her saying to become a better ruler or her parents wanted her to interact with other teens similar to her. Honestly her answer seemed to surprise him due to her honesty
"Actually. My mother originally sent me here in order to fulfill my destiny, basically to go down the same exact path she did when she was my age, but that's not my plan. I want to find out who I truly am, make my own decisions. All my life I felt like I just wasn't fit to be a so called royal, there was more to me than that and I want to know what it is," she answered him. She did this while fixing her hair into a neat bun and she then asked Zeke the same question.
Zeke thought to himself a moment he really did not expect to be honest with a girl he just met so soon, but there was something about her. He did not have to read her desires through magic she let him know exactly who he is, "Your very unique honestly I didn't plan on letting anyone know this about me but my parents sent me here because I have to learn how to be a better ruler and deal with a curse that I brought onto myself. The shadow-man wanted revenge on my family from the other side so when I was young I foolishly made a deal with him so now i am curse he's a part of me and I'm connected to the other side so same thing that happened to him could happen to me" he said as he stopped and saw the office and then turned and looked at her and wanted to keep talking since he was in no rush.
